Roadshow at Rajpath Club, Ahmedabad

C&S operates the Smart Optical Card for Vehicle Registration Certification project in Gujarat on a BOOT basis. As part of the project C&S also takes the initiative to educate customers about the benefits and advantages to vehicle owners that the government is providing through the project. In keeping with these intiatives a road show was conducted by the Gujarat team at Rajpath Club, Ahmedabad. Apart from educating the customer, the roadshow also aimed to feel the pulse of the customer and understand his impression of the product and the service quality levels.

The roadshow began at 10 am in the lobby of the club. The stall that had been setup, dislayed the process, the product and also had information leaflets for customers to go through. Customers could also register their names in case they were interested in getting a Smart Optical Card.

Reactions of the people who visited the booth ranged from curious to excited to disbelief. The curious wanted to know more about the card, the excited couldnt believe that the government was taking an interest in educating them and the disbelivers couldnt believe that the such a facility could be available to them.

Over a 100 people visited the stall during the 7 hour show. Visitors to the stall could avail the special facility of having their forms picked up from and cards delivered at their doorstep. This facility found several takers.

The prizes (a pair of stress busters) for the evening round of housie at the club were also sponsored by C&S and given away by Mr. Anil Makhija, GM.
